PERFECTLY PINK with a kiss of FUSCHIA

Hello everyone, hoping you all had a wonderful Xmas

MY TURN OVER AT

Pinks/ purples with black and white are my theme for this post

‘TASTE’

Pinks and purples/fushia are such rich and luscious velvety colors, which in my opinion look majestic against a white background…
here I used a Crafters workshop mask to add some extra color
a little stamping, and an added touch of green in the patterned paper and cotton as a complimentary color .
A simple layout with a dramatic effect using deep fushia/purple.

GREEN TARA ITEMS USED

'MOMENTS'

Pink and Black are wonderful complimentary colors and the new dusty pink SOFT FABRIC FLOWERS are so dreamy,
and marry perfectly with the BLACK HEIRLOOM SILK AND ORGANZA flower.
I also added the tiny flowers in Taupe and black as a beautiful addition to these two new flowers .

Green Tara items used

A holiday Tradition...Old historic buildings fascinate me .
I wonder and imagine what life was like for the people living there all those years ago.
this old historic home in Sorrento contains an open journal inside,
with writings about the 'lady' of the house .
She made everything beautiful
She believed the best in everybody.
She believed life was on her side.
She forgave easily and loved freely.
She made the most of her life .

Why not Have a play and enjoy the process.

thanks for looking everyone
I just love the colors in this challenge

I read and digest every word

'BEAUTIFUL BLOSSOM'

MY TURN TODAY OVER AT

Hello everyone, today I am sharing one of my creations with the stunning Christmas papers,
starring my beautiful Ella Jai .

'BLOSSOM'

I used a base of Bazzill brown cardstock , stamped with black ink using a Prima stamp .
Next I Added to the background by randomly placing the Crafters workshop mask on the page, and inking with Grape Versa color.
This paper offers such rich velvety colors  which  match perfectly with the deep velvet antique flowers.
I mounted the photo in layers with the Christmas  papers and  I clustered the rich velvet flowers, die cut leaves and the stunning organza flower around my photo .
The keys are altered with Gesso and ink and stitched to the page .
I distressed  the papers by rubbing lightly with an emery board .
These papers take on a different feel and look with a light distressing , it brings out the design  and amplifies the border punch pattern .

a beautiful white Tulle GREEN TARA  bloom
Denise has designed these beautiful papers with such  amazing diversity .
The leaves are all from the one design and yet they look so individual in a cluster , all blending together .
All the different tones and hues add to the magic .

PUBLISHED PROJECT IN SCRAPBOOK CREATIONS

This month I had
 MY AFFIRMATION BOARD
PUBLISHED IN " SCRAPBOOK CREATIONS."
very, very exciting for me !

for this commission,
I was asked to create a Christmas gift .
This is what I came up with .
'An affirmation board '
I discovered a metal spoon in my stash and that was my 'kick start' for this project.
I had an immediate flash, as I love to cook and am passionate about my home and garden.
These boards are such fun to create and can be as detailed or as simple as you desire .
they make awesome gifts for Christmas and last the entire year through.
I have one in my kitchen with a positive affirmation on it,
right where I can see it throughout the day .
You can incorporate your fave photos, quotes and themes
and use a clip board as the base.
why not make a few different boards/pages and swap
them over as often as required .

I love this Prima almanac collection, and all the bits and pieces are
Tim Holtz metal elements and some found objects.
lots of fun to create .

thanks for popping by

TIME FOR HEALING

Sadly This is my final post for Imaginarium designs . .
Sometimes it is difficult to trust life with all its sudden twists and turns, storms and unexpected painful experiences ..
I have decided to drop back and take some time for healing , time for myself, to take a moment, breathe deeply, restore myself and begin again .
This will reconnect me with my creativity and life's magic .

I want to thank Jane for having me on the team for the past 2 years.
It has been an amazing and inspiring journey and I have met some beautiful people
 along the way ..
thanks to each of you for supporting me and I hope I have inspired you all
 in some small way.
Jane encouraged me to create my blog and
 IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS
was my very first design team, so I thank you so much Jane xoxo
